Complete your FAA medical exam to make sure you’re eligible to fly and begin training with confidence. You can search for a local Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) through the FAA website. https://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator?utm_source
Learn the fundamentals of aviation, weather, navigation, regulations, and aircraft systems while beginning hands-on flight lessons with your instructor.
Take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test after completing the required ground instruction and study preparation.
Complete required flight hours, solo flights, cross-country training, night flying, and emergency procedures until you’re checkride-ready. This is done to the Airman Certification Standards (ACS)
Complete the FAA practical exam with a designated examiner, demonstrating both your aviation knowledge and flying skills to earn your Private Pilot Certificate.
