At CAVU Flight School, our Instrument Training is designed to help pilots develop the precision, discipline, and situational awareness required to safely operate in a wider range of weather conditions and airspace environments. What To Expect

From your first instrument lesson to your checkride, our instructors will guide you through every phase of training. Instruction includes:

• Instrument scanning and aircraft control

• FAA instrument procedures and regulations

• IFR flight planning and in-depth weather interpretation

• Training in various different types of approaches, RNAV/VOR/ILS/etc

• Instrument approaches, holds, and departures

• Cross-country IFR flight training

• Real-world aeronautical decision making and risk management that comes along with IFR/Low Visibility enviroments
